Stood up on my third wave! Shreya was so patient. Best morning of our Goa trip.

Learn to Surf: Beginner Lesson
Two hours on Morjim’s gentle beach break with a certified coach. Most people stand up on day one.
Our signature beginner lesson. We start on the sand with warm-up, safety and pop-up practice, then head into waist-deep water where your coach pushes you into your first waves. Soft-top boards, rash vest and leash included. Max 4 students per coach. Mornings are glassy and best for first-timers; evenings come with a sunset.
You will read and accept a short safety waiver when you book. Under-18s need a parent or guardian.

“Surfing is mostly falling off and laughing about it. We keep you in the shallows, push you into the right waves and cheer very loudly when you stand up.”

Questions people ask
Do I need to know how to swim?
You should be comfortable in waist-deep water. We never take beginners out of their depth.
Morning or evening?
Mornings are usually calmer and glassier, which is best for first-timers. Evenings have a little more wind but come with the sunset.
Will I stand up?
Most people stand up in the first lesson. If you don’t, your next group lesson is on us.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If we or the lifeguards call off a session because of the sea or the weather, you can move to another session or get a full refund.
